Gary Oldman was initially rumored to be cast, but was replaced by Kevin Kline
Narrative
It follows Catherine Ravenscroft, a TV documentary journalist whose job is to expose the wrongdoings of long-respected institutions.
In multiple episodes, Jonathon uses the entire series’ lens, a medium-length telephoto
Such a lens would not be able to focus on close subjects like a selfie with Sasha or in the bedroom with Catherine.
Some of the negative reviews seem to suggest that the good reviews are a “conspiracy” that fails to grasp the simple concept that we all have different tastes
There are certainly plot holes, but the story hits you hard when you realize that each character is a despicable human being and you see the terrible cruelty, ego, and hatred that simmer in the human psyche.
The acting is good and the story develops impressively
The 7/10 rating reflects the plot holes, all the things that happened between Katherine and Jonathan were witnessed only by them, but somehow the grieving mother wrote it as if she saw every moment, and then it just became a fact in the show.
But it is powerful, the emotions it inspires, the wonderful way it is worth watching (I am not a bot or an employee of the production company, in case there are any conspiracy theorists here)(that’s what THEY would say!!)
